Vitality Animal Physiotherapy Ltd
Welcome to Vitality Animal Physiotherapy Ltd we are passionate about delivering a personal, professional and caring service to pets and their owners. Wheather your friend is a companion or working dog we work closely with yourselves and your veterinary team to provide a treatment plan individualised to your pets needs.
Based in the North Cotswolds, we offer a specialist canine and feline physiotherapy service to pets within Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
Your pet is an important member of your family which is why we believe they should get the best treatment possible. We work alongside your veterinary team to ensure your pets live a happier, healthier and longer life.
What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy uses a combination of physical treatments including massage, stretching, electrotherapy and remedial exercise to enhance the body's natural repair mechanisms. This restores movement and function to the musculoskeletal and neurological systems.
Used in human medicine, physiotherapy improves recovery time following illness or injury. Advances in veterinary medicine means physiotherapy is now used to improve animals recovery following complex operations or injury.
Physiotherapy is also used alongside conventional veterinary treatments in patients with long-term medical conditions, such as arthritis, to provide pain relief. Allowing pets to live healthier, happier lives.
Our service is entirely mobile. We visit your pet in the comfort of their own home, avoiding unnecessary, stressful and uncomfortable car journeys.
We can also arrange to treat your pet at a location of your choice. This could mean preparing your canine athlete for an important competition.
Alternatively, if your pet requires hospital treatment we can liaise with your veterinary team to provide physiotherapy during their stay at the vets.
Your pet is in safe hands with a fully trained, regulated and insured veterinary physiotherapist to care for their needs.
Hayley, our Veterinary Physiotherapist, is governed by the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapist and a member of the Animal Health Professions Register.
We offer an easy, simple and quick referral service which means less time filling out paperwork and more time treating your patients.
If you have any cases which you think might benefit from physiotherapy then Hayley is more than happy to discuss the case with you to find out if it is the best treatment option for your patient.
